Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Namaste, Welcome to India! You will be welcomed by your private driver at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tours of Delhi according to your arrival time.

Day 2: Flight Delhi - Dharamshala

Transfer to the airport to take your flight from Delhi to Dharamshala. You will be welcomed by your new driver and transferred to your hotel. Take advantage of the drive to admire the view that awaits you on the magnificent Dhauladar range. Free time to visit the city.

Day 3: Dharamshala

Dharamshala is a magnificent region at the foot of the Himalayas. It is therefore a perfect destination for athletes looking for adrenaline who likes to climb the mountains but also for beginners who are looking for some easy hikes. For those who do not like hiking, do not worry Dharamshala also have something to surprise you. For the religious side, Dharamshala is a region with a strong Buddhist influence. This is explained by the exile of the Dalai Lama here many years ago. Visit the temple and the monastery of the Dalai Lama, the Norbulinka institute and its Japanese gardens but also certain Hindu temples such as the temple of Bajinath, Chamunda Devi ... During your visit to the temples, you will pass by the tea plantations of Dharamshala, breathtaking landscapes against the backdrop of the Himalayan range.

Day 4: Dharamshala - Amritsar (4 / 5H by car)

Take advantage of your morning to take a stroll around town or take a short walk in the mountains before setting off for the town of Amritsar. Installation at your hotel.

Day 5: Amritsar

Amritsar is proud to host the Golden Temple which is a spiritual center for the entire Sikh population of the world. It is the epicenter of Sikhism, an Indian religion of a recent vintage. The city seems to be woven around the Temple. Indeed Amritsar derives its name from "Amrit Sarovar" which means "the sacred pool of nectar" or the pool around the Temple. Today you will therefore visit the temples of the city and in particular the Golden Temple where you will witness a unique sunset over the Temple!

Day 6:Amritsar - Chandigarh (4 / 5H by car)

You will leave in the morning for the city of Chandigarh, a city with an architectural and urban heritage due to the dear French, Le Corbusier. Installation in your hotel and visit of the city center.

Day 7:Chandigarh - Shimla (3 / 4H by car)

Chandigarh takes its name from the deity Chandi (Hindu temple in the neighboring district) and Garh the "fort". This city was designed by the famous French architect, Le Corbusier, roof terraces, green streets, concrete houses ... It is a modern city on a human scale for India. The city has not been equipped with any road communication center, making this capital a pedestrian paradise. It is not a historical city because recent, but you will not get bored. Enjoy the parks, a stroll through the rose garden or the Fragrance garden, a walk along Lake Sukhna. Visit the parliament, the secretariat and the Court of Justice. Come see the emblematic sculpture of the city "the open hand" which symbolizes peace and brotherhood. In the afternoon drive to Shimla.

Day 8:Shimla

At an altitude of around 2200m, Shimla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh. Victorian architecture, it is a resort for Indians during the summer months. Visit the Mall, it's a long modern pedestrian street lined with shops of all kinds, restaurants and cafes. The Theater of Gaiety designed by Henry Irwin in 1887 in a Victorian Gothic style. The town hall built in 1908, half-timbered building. But also the temple of Jakhou and its statue of Hanuman with a height of 33m and the temple Kali Bari. The church of Christ built in 1857 according to the plans of the French colonel Boileau. The viceregal lodge also known as Rashtrapati Niwas, previously the summer residence of the British viceroy of India. Day 9:Shimla - Rishikesh (7 / 8H by car)

Departure in the morning for the city of Rishikesh. This city on the banks of the Ganga with the Himalayas in the background is unique.

Day 10: Rishikesh

It is one of the 7 sacred cities of Hinduism, but it is also here that yoga found its roots. This is how this city was named World Capital of Yoga. Visit the ancient city with its many temples on the banks of the Ganga. Do not miss the evening ritual of Ganga Aarti at dusk. Hindu priests chant incantations for the glory of Mother Ganga and make the offering of lights. Visit the ghats along the river. Visit the holy ashrams of the religious Gurus.

Day 11: Rishikesh - Haridwar (1 hour by car)

Take advantage of your day to hike in the surrounding area. This is the perfect place for that, you will be amazed. In the late afternoon, departure for the city of Haridwar.

Day 12: Haridwar Train - Delhi

Take a stroll on the ghats to soak up the energy of the place before your transfer to the station to take your train to Delhi. On arrival, a driver will wait for you at the station to accompany you to your hotel.

Day 13: Delhi - Departure
